Stuart Simson Grant

The Stuart Simson Scholarship was established in 1975 from a bequest by the late Stuart Ormsby Simson, who directed that the income be used to assist in paying the fees of eligible first-year male students residing in one of the University Halls of Residence.

Eligibility

All conditions must be met

  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa.
  • ATAR of 98.00.
  • A male student studying VCE or IB in Victoria in 2016.
  • Commencing a full-time undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
  • Intending to reside at Monash Residential Services at Clayton campus or Mannix College.

Application and other information

  • Cannot be deferred.
  • No application is necesary. Students that apply for a course through VTAC will be automatically assessed.

Retention

  • Must maintain full-time enrolment.
