We live in an era when information technology (IT) is all around us. Are you interested in understanding how our society has changed as a result?
The Information and society minor explores the social and cultural impact of IT, as well as its application in the workplace. You will take a journey through the fascinating historical and contemporary issues that surround the pervasive use of IT in both the personal and professional spheres.
This non-technical look at IT in society will provide a valuable breadth component to students from all disciplines, all of whom will graduate in the Information Age.
