2016 course requirements

The MPhil is a 100 per cent research program. A research candidate is required to undertake a program of supervised research within the faculty resulting in the completion of a major thesis, of a maximum of 35,000 words. In fulfilling the requirements for supervised study and research at the university, a candidate is required to be present on campus at Monash University on a regular basis and to be involved in the intellectual life of the university and the Faculty.

Fees

Research Training Scheme (RTS)

This course is supported by the Australian government's Research Training Scheme (RTS). Under the RTS, domestic students are exempt from tuition fees for the normal duration of the course. This exemption is valid for up to four years for students enrolled in a doctoral program and up to two years for a research master's degree.
