Accounting will prepare you for a career as a professional accountant in the public or private sectors. It will give you solid technical skills in financial accounting, management accounting, corporate finance, taxation, auditing and financial analysis.

Banking and finance will provide you with the skills to manage money in institutional settings such as banks and investment houses. You will learn key financial concepts and be able to match companies and individuals with financial products.

Through International business you will acquire a strong understanding of the issues affecting international firms and companies that operates across national borders. You will develop skills in international economics and finance and build strategic business skills.

Marketing will enable you to harness your analytic, creative and strategic skills to become a specialist marketer, and make important marketing decisions to drive business success. Plus, very high achieving students enrolled in the single Business Specialist course or the Business and Business Specialist double-degree course will be eligible for entry to the Monash Business School Scholars Program.

With a specialist course at Monash you begin study in your area of interest from day one. If you have a specific career goal or more specific field of study firmly in your sights, this may be the option for you. These courses are designed to ensure you have the right combination of skills needed for your professional field.

This course comprises 144 points, of which 96 points is focussed on study in your specialist area and 48 points is used to provide additional depth or breadth.

The course develops through the four themes of foundation business knowledge, specialist discipline knowledge, capstone experience and breadth/depth study.

Partner with another course
