Entry Requirements

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum entry requirements


  • An Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 8 qualification in pharmacy (eg. bachelor of pharmacy with honours or Graduate Certificate or graduate diploma) or equivalent.
  • Registered as a pharmacist.
  • English language requirements.

Applicants with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (without Honours) may be considered for admission if they can demonstrate the required knowledge and skills. Assessment will be by portfolio submission.

International students located in Australia wishing to study this course must be registered as a pharmacist in Australia and have the appropriate visa to allow part-time study. All other international students are only able to study this course in their country of residence.

English requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.

Extra requirements

Applicants must submit documents as specified on the faculty website.

Applicants who completed a Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Internship) or a Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice at Monash must have achieved a minimum credit (60) average overall.
